New Logitech CFO Comes From Electronics for Imaging

Swiss computer peripherals maker Logitech got a new CFO this week.

On Wednesday, Logitech announced that it had hired Vincent Pilette, who had been at California's Electronics for Imaging, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for nearly three years, to become Logitech's own CFO.

Pilette's history in the computer industry stretches back. At EFI, he helped expand revenues and more than double operating profit. Prior to joining EFI, the worked for Hewlett-Packard for 14 years.

This experience appears to be key to why Pilette was hired. In a statement, Logitech CEO Bracken P. Darrell said that "through his roles with HP and EFI, Vincent brings a unique skill set to the position. And his direct experience as CFO of a company that repositioned itself to become a dynamic growth company aligns well with our goals and strategy."

Logitech did not mention compensation in its press release, nor has it filed an SEC filing disclosing how much it will be paying Pillette. EFI filed a disclosure with the SEC late last month describing how his departure had necessitated the appointing of an interim CFO, Marc Olin, who will be given a $29,166 monthly salary, said to be "equal to the monthly base salary of the former Chief Financial Officer."
