Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. Embarks on Second Round Middle East Crowd Control Product Demonstrations
SARNIA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lamperd Less Lethal (OTC PINK:LLLI) announces an invitation from the governments of Oman and Saudi Arabia to demonstrate its full less lethal line, including crowd control products. This will be the second demonstration to both governments in the past year.
Government personnel have shown great enthusiasm for the potential of our products in their region due to the unrest that has recently taken place in the Middle East. These government representatives are excited about our ability to manufacture a complete line of less lethal crowd control products in large quantities. Our facilities are capable of producing all components on-site, in large enough quantities to fill any order, reducing any possible delays in delivery.
"This is an extremely positive step forward after negotiating with the government of Oman during the past year," stated company President Barry Lamperd. "We anticipate closing on a very sizeable order at the end of this demonstration, from one or both countries," he continued.
The company has been very active in the region, showing our weapons and less lethal ammunition to five countries. On August 23rd, 2013, the company was contacted by the Sultanate of Oman's Police Directorate of Supplies and Logistics inviting us to show our complete line of products on September 7, 2013. The following day, August 24th, 2013, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of the Interior requested a second demonstration of our full line of crowd control products during the trip to Oman. Arrangements are currently being made for a visit by a Saudi Arabian delegation to our factory in September or October.
Recently, we have sold a small amount of our product to Russia, and are aggressively pursuing sales in Mexico.
