Activision's Infinity Fears Are Probably Overblown

Now that Disney has entered the toy-meets-video-game space with its Infinitygaming platform, it may have some Activision investors worried that its Skylanders gaming platform could face some serious competition. After all, Disney has an intimidating arsenal of character franchises that it could one day unleash on the competition. Avengers meets Star Wars, anyone?

Although this may sound intimidating on paper, Fool contributor Steve Heller believes that the affordable $60 price tag for Activision's Skylanders Giants starter pack and $75 for Disney Infinity could mean that this isn't necessarily a zero-sum game.
