Triangle Capital Keeps Dividend Steady

Triangle Capital is holding to its existing dividend policy for now. The company has declared a quarterly disbursement of $0.54 per share, to be paid on September 25 to shareholders of record as of September 11. That amount matches both of the firm's previous two distributions, the most recent of which was dispensed at the end of June. Prior to that, Triangle Capital was less generous by a penny, handing out $0.53 per share.

The firm has paid dividends in every quarter since June 2007. Its inaugural payout followed closely on the heels of its IPO launched in February of that year.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $2.16 per share. That yields 7.4% at Triangle Capital's current stock price of $29.05.
