KMG Chemicals Keeps Steady Dividend

KMG Chemicals today announced plans to keep its dividend payout steady this quarter at $0.03 per share of common stock.

The specialty chemical provider has paid this amount since March 2012, after raising its payout 20% from $0.025 per share. The company will make its latest dividend payable on Sept. 23 for shareholders of record as of Sept. 9.

Annualized, KMG's dividend adds up to $0.12 per share. The company's stock traded at $23.25 as of the market's close on Aug. 27. This means KMG's current dividend yields 0.5%.
