Deere Maintains Dividend

Deere continues to plow straight ahead with its dividend. The company has declared its latest disbursement, which is to be $0.51 per share paid on November 1 to shareholders of record as of September 30. That amount matches both of the firm's previous two distributions, the most recent of which was paid at the beginning of this month. Prior to that, Deere handed out $0.46 per share.

The company is one of the more storied and consistent dividend payers on the New York Stock Exchange. It has handed out a distribution since 1971.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $2.04 per share. That yields 2.4% at Deere's current stock price of $84.41.
