NiSource Keeps Dividend Steady
NiSource is continuing to send a dividend across the wires to its investors. The company has declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.25 per share, to be paid on Nov. 20 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 31. That amount matches the firm's previous distribution, which was handed out last week. Before that, NiSource was less generous by a penny, dispensing $0.24 per share.
The company is a sturdy and reliable dividend payer. It has handed out a distribution every quarter since November 1987.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to an even $1.00 per share. That yields 3.4% at NiSource's most recent closing stock price of $29.41.
