United Bankshares Declares Q3 Dividend
United Bankshares is continuing to draw out shareholder payouts from its vault. The company has declared a dividend of $0.31 per share for its Q3, to be paid on Oct. 1 to stockholders of record as of Sept. 13. That amount matches the all of the company's preceding distributions stretching back to January 2012. Before that, United Bankshares was less generous by a penny, handing out $0.30 per share.
Although it didn't do so with the just-announced dividend, the company has raised its payout for 39 consecutive years.
The upcoming distribution annualizes to $1.24 per share. That yields 4.3% at United Bankshares' most recent closing stock price of $28.75.
