The dividend pumps are still on at World Fuel Services . The company has declared a quarterly distribution of $0.0375 per share, to be paid on Oct. 4 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 20. That amount matches all of the company's preceding dividends stretching back to January 2010. World Fuel Services split its stock in December 2009.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.15 per share. That yields 0.4% at the company's most recent closing stock price of $38.63.
The announcement of the upcoming distribution comes several weeks after World Fuel Services posted its Q2 results. For the quarter, revenue came in at $10.5 billion, an improvement over the $9.6 billion in the same period the previous year. Attributable net income was $51.0 million ($0.71 per diluted share) against Q2 2012's $48.6 million ($0.68).
