Spirit AeroSystems Replaces CFO

Spirit AeroSystems has effected a shuffle in its executive suite. The company announced the appointment of Sanjay Kapoor as senior vice president and CFO, replacing Phil Anderson. The succession is effective starting in mid-September; the company didn't provide a more precise date.

Anderson, meanwhile, will move over to become senior vice president of defense and contracts, giving him responsibility for all company contracting.

Before joining Spirit AeroSystems, Kapoor served as CFO at units of Raytheon and United Technologies. His most recent job was vice president of the integrated air and missile defense, integrated defense systems unit of the former.
