Macy's Dividend Holds Steady
Macy's this week announced plans to keep its dividend steady this quarter at $0.25 per share.
The retailer has paid this amount to investors since last quarter, after raising its payout 25% from $0.20. This latest dividend will be payable on Oct. 1 to stockholders of record as of Sept. 13.
The annualized amount for Macy's dividend comes out to $1.00 per share of common stock. As of the market's close on Aug. 22, the company's stock was trading at a price of $44.95, which means its dividend currently yields 2.2%. The company has seen its stock price rise 17% since the beginning of 2013.
