SolarWinds CFO to Step Down

The leadership of SolarWinds' financial team is set for a big change. The company announced that current Executive Vice President and CFO Michael Berry will step down, effective Oct. 1. He is departing to fill the CFO role at a "high-tech growth company" that SolarWinds did not name.

Berry's position will be filled by two of the company's executives, Jason Ream and J. Barton Kalsu. Ream, currently the vice president of growth strategy, will be promoted to executive vice president, finance and CFO. Kalsu, the company's current chief accountant and senior vice president of finance, will also be an executive vice president of finance while taking the post of chief accounting officer.

Ream has been an executive at SolarWinds since 2009, serving in a variety of positions. Kalsu started at the company in 2007.
