Microsoft's Phil Spencer responds to Sony

Near the end of Sony's Gamescom press conference Tuesday, Sony Computer Entertainment president Andrew House took aim at Microsoft and their recent Xbox One policy shifts – a low blow Microsoft Studio's vice-president Phil Spencer believes was unwarranted.

"While others have shifted their message and changed their story, we were consistent in maintaining policies and a model that is fair and in tune with consumer desires," House exclaimed mockingly before unveiling the PlayStation 4 release date.

Phil Spencer, speaking with Eurogamer Wednesday, responded to House's comment, noting Microsoft's policy changes are a result of listening to their consumers – something that's a strength, not a weakness.
