XCOM: Enemy Unknown is upgrading to Enemy Within come November

Updated

Sure, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified released yesterday, but that's not nearly enough XCOM in your life. 2K and Firaxis Games demands that you get more bang for your extraterrestrial buck. Come November 12th, XCOM: Enemy Within will be released as an expanded experience for XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It will be available for PC, Mac, PS3, and Xbox 360.

This experience will come with all sorts of new goodies for fans of Enemy Unknown. Your soldiers will have new ability options, new upgrades to weapons, and even genetic code splicing. You want mini mech like armor, you get mini mech like armor. Here's the thing though, since this is XCOM that means you are getting this technology from your enemies – hence, your foes will have this tech before you do. Good times.

Along with the gear and tech, there will be new maps, new tactical challenges, new mission types, new multiplayer content, and other unannounced things. Check out the video above and get ready for new ways to murder some aliens.
