NTRR Initiates Development of New Nutraceutical Delivery System
SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Neutra Corp. (OTCBB: NTRR), a growing provider of all-natural wellness solutions, announced today that the company has begun research and development activities on a new cutting-edge oral delivery system for nutraceuticals including medical marijuana (MMJ).
Earlier this month, NTRR hired Dr. Richard C. Kaufman to spearhead this new research and development project as well as others in the $42 billion nutraceuticals industry. The company is close to finalizing a joint venture agreement with Second Wave Ventures, LLC, a cutting-edge developer of cannabinoid products infused with healthy nutrients, in order to pioneer new methods of smokeless THC and CBD delivery.
Cannabinoids found in medical marijuana, such as the substances THC and CBD, have demonstrated several therapeutic benefits in a number of case studies. Recent pre-clinical trials conducted by the FDA suggest that THC-rich cannabis can significantly reduce the onset of neuropathy, and CBD has been found to provide relief from chronic pain due to muscle spasticity, muscle convulsions and inflammation—a type of pain often experienced by patients who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia and Epilepsy.
