StubHub Announces Extended Partnership with FedExField, Home of the Washington Redskins

StubHub to become naming rights partner through 2018

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- StubHub, the Official Fan-to-Fan Ticket Marketplace of FedExField, is pleased to announce it is expanding its relationship with the home of the Washington Redskins. StubHub will be joining FedEx as a naming rights partner of the stadium, entitling the Premium Club Level as the StubHub Club Level through 2018. StubHub was partners with the Washington Redskins from 2006 through 2011 and has been the official secondary ticketing partner of FedExField since 2011.

"FedExField has worked tirelessly over the years to earn the reputation as the premier entertainment venue in the Nation's Capital. Whether pro or college football, international soccer, or major concerts, we strive to deliver the best possible experience for our attendees. Our expanded partnership with StubHub will allow our stadium to accomplish this goal for the foreseeable future," said Michelle Modzeleski, Vice President of FedExField Special Events.

Launching tonight as the Redskins host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football, the StubHub Club Level at FedExField, one of the largest premium club levels in professional sports, will provide Premium Club members with the best seats in the house, VIP entrances, hundreds of flat screen televisions in climate controlled concourses, well-known restaurants and bars, concierge services, and exclusive parking privileges, as well as access to seats to other non-NFL events at FedExField.

With the expanded partnership, StubHub and FedExField will be adding new fan experience elements to the StubHub Club Level, including unique, interactive fan kiosks, which will allow fans to create a digital commemorative ticket at every event and share it socially, as well as other fan friendly FedExField-related content - all which will enhance the game day experience.

"We are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with FedExField," said StubHub's Geoff Lester, Managing Director, Partnerships and Business Development. "As we expand our role at the stadium, we look forward to working with FedExField to provide a truly memorable experience for every fan that steps foot on the StubHub Club Level."

In addition to the new Club Level amenities, StubHub will unveil four plush, oversized Dream Seats on the 50-yard line and will award them to StubHub customers at every event. StubHub will also receive prominent signage throughout the venue and on the StubHub Club Level.

This announcement marks StubHub's second naming rights agreement with a major league sports venue. On June 1, the company became the naming rights partner for StubHub Center, the home of Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy and Chivas USA.
