Alabama Servicemen and Weighmasters: Apply and Renew Licenses Online Now

New online applications bring convenience and efficiencies to Alabama residents

MONTGOMERY, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Department of Agriculture and Industries Weights and Measures Division is now offering online applications and renewals for both servicemen and weighmasters. Servicemen must be registered in order to place a weighing/measuring device in service, repair or adjust a device. Weighmasters must apply for a certificate in order to weigh or measure any commodity, produce or article using a scale with a capacity greater than 1,000 pounds. Certified weighmasters can easily renew their weighmaster certificate yearly by utilizing the new, online application.

"The Department of Agriculture and Industries is proud to announce the new, online application process.
