Voip-Pal Appoints Dr. Thomas E. Sawyer as Chairman of the Board and CEO
BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Voip-Pal.com Inc. ("Voip-Pal", "Company") (OTC Pink: VPLM) announced today that board member Dr. Thomas E. Sawyer has been appointed as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Voip-Pal. Dennis Chang will remain with the Company as a director. Dr. Sawyer will assume his new position effective immediately.
Dr. Sawyer has enjoyed a successful career in both the public and private sectors spanning over forty years of technical and managerial experience in high-technology industries. Among his many business accomplishments are serving as Chairman and CEO of NACT Telecommunications; a company which he founded and led into the Deloitte and Touché Technology Fast 500, as announced in the November 30, 1998, issue of Forbes ASAP. He is a former Chief Technology Officer and board member of Global Light Telecommunications, and Chairman and a Founder of Sacred Circle Health Care, Inc., a company whose primary focus is to provide a wide range of primary medical care services to Tribal members.
