Hershey Adds New Member to Board of Directors

Mary Kay Haben, former president of the North American branch of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company and before that an executive with Kraft Foods for many years, is the latest appointment to Hershey's Board of Directors.

Haben "is an accomplished executive with extensive experience managing businesses in the consumer packaged goods industry" said James Nevels, Hershey's Chairman of the Board of Directors, in a statement, "and has an impressive track record in growing brands and developing new products."

Haben served in the food and confectionary business for 33 years prior to her retirement, and oversaw Wrigley gum's integration into Mars Inc. in 2008. She also worked with Kraft Foods for 27 years, managing the cheese, meals, and enhancers divisions, among others. Currently, Haben also acts on the board for Bob Evans Farms, and is also on the board of trustees for Equity Residential.
