Aviv REIT Declares Its Second Dividend

Aviv REIT is already establishing a track record for shareholder payouts in spite of its short history as a publicly traded firm. The real estate investment trust has declared its second dividend, which is to be $0.36 per share dispensed on September 16 to shareholders of record as of August 30.

Although the amount is lower than the $0.384 inaugural distribution that Aviv REIT paid in mid-June, that payout was a blend of $0.36 per share for the company's Q2, and $0.024 for the completion of its IPO this past March.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.44 per share. That yields 6.2% at Aviv REIT's most recent closing stock price of $23.14.
