CSI Recognizes Innovative Customer Growth, Profitability Tactics at Annual Customer Conference

@CSISolutions: First-ever Seeing Business Differently Award winners recognized at annual CSI Customer Conference in Chicago

PADUCAH, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions to remain competitive, compliant and profitable, recognized three outstanding institutions-Old Florida National Bank, Horizon Bank and First Community Bank-for their exceptional efforts toward growth and profitability as part of the company's inaugural Seeing Business Differently Awards. The awards were presented in conjunction with this year's annual CSI Customer Conference, which hosted more than 1,000 attendees from approximately 350 of CSI's financial institution and business customers, technology partners and prospective institutions. The event was held Aug. 5-7 in Chicago.

CSI's Seeing Business Differently Awards recognize customers who are taking a bold, innovative approach to maintaining success within their institution through a variety of methods. Specifically, nominees are evaluated on a series of key areas, including:

  • Adding new products to improve profitability;

  • Taking new approaches that result in efficiency gains;

  • Growing customer base due to new techniques; and

  • Improving ROA/ROI during the past year due to new tactics.

"This year, CSI has continued to experience tremendous success within the financial services industry, much of which can be attributed to the wide range of innovative customers we work with every day," said Steve Powless, CSI's chief executive officer. "Because of this, we had the privilege of recognizing three of our most impressive customers at this year's conference by presenting Old Florida National Bank, Horizon Bank and First Community Bank with the inaugural Seeing Business Differently Awards."

While each of the three honorees met the criteria in place for the award, the methodology behind their successes differed from bank to bank. Old Florida National Bank (Orlando, Fla.) utilizes CSI's Profit and Margin Performer and Loan Relationship Pricing solutions, customizing each module to best understand and verify the results and educating their staff on each analysis. The bank's strategic planning, which includes the utilization of multiple CSI solutions, has been instrumental in their continued growth and profitability and resulted in significant growth in both ROA and ROE during the past year.

Horizon Bank (Austin, Texas) has consistently leveraged technology to deliver services and communicate with their customers in new ways. In 2012, the bank added CSI's Mobile Banking with Mobile Deposit to their continually growing list of products. The solutions and services provided by CSI have allowed the bank to maintain some of the highest earnings in its peer group by using CSI's data center and other resources. As a result of these efforts, Horizon Bank has grown from $10 million in assets to more than $400 million in the last seven years.

Lastly, First Community Bank (Clinton, Ky.) has relied on CSI's products and services to increase productivity and offer customers easy and instant access to their accounts by implementing CenterDoc, as well as CSI's Internet Banking and Mobile Banking solutions. Additionally, First Community Bank currently utilizes CSI's Secure Connect application as a board portal, which securely provides the bank's board members with access to critical data through a central portal. To prove the bank's commitment to customer convenience, it launched all of these services within the past 15 months.

"The Seeing Business Differently Awards identify those customers who are taking innovative, results-driven approaches to banking through technology and service," Powless said. "All three recipients provide a clear example of what it takes for financial institutions to be competitive, compliant and profitable in today's challenging marketplace."

CSI will host its 2014 annual customer conference in Orlando at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and Spa.
