UnitedHealth Maintains Dividend
The shareholder payout continues to be in robust health at UnitedHealth Group . The company has declared its latest common stock dividend, which will be $0.28 per share paid on September 24 to shareholders of record as of September 13. That amount matches the firm's previous distribution, which was handed out at the end of June. Prior to that, UnitedHealth paid $0.2125 per share.
The company paid its first dividend in September 1990. Since then, the gross payout (unadjusted for stock splits) has ranged from $0.03 per share to the present level.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.12 per share. That yields 1.5% at UnitedHealth's current stock price of $72.58.
