Kimball Keeps Dividend Steady

Electronics components and furniture Kimball International (Nasdaq: KBALA) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.045 per share on its Class A shares and $0.05 per share on its Class B shares. Those are the same rates it's paid since 2009 on both classes of stock .

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on October 15 to holders of record at the close of business on September 25. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.18-per-share annual dividend on the Class A shares, yielding 4.2%, and $0.20-per-share annual dividend on the Class B shares, yielding 1.8% based on the closing price today of Kimball International's stock.
