The Salvation Army's Annual "Tools for Schools" Distribution

Huntington Bank has donated more than 1,100 backpacks to give to local families in need, with The Anderson's and the community donating additional supplies

In addition to B-roll footage of the children obtaining backpacks, the following will be available for interviews:

Huntington's school backpack distribution follows the release of the bank's annual Backpack Index, which tracks the increasing costs of school supplies and extracurricular activities for students in grades K-12. Released on July 22, 2013 Huntington's 8th annual Backpack Index documented the exponential rise in costs this year associated, in-part, with the growing prevalence of computer tablets.
