Dominion Declares 342nd Consecutive Quarterly Dividend

Dominion announced today that its board has approved a $0.5625 quarterly dividend, keeping distributions steady at Dominion's previous rate. The dividend will be paid out on Sept. 20 to any investors holding Dominion shares as of Sept. 6.

According to the press release, this marks the 342nd straight dividend that Dominion (or its predecessor company) has distributed to shareholders. Over the past five years, the utility has increased its dividend by a substantial 42%, and the company's current annual yield clocks in at 3.7%.
