Primerica Declares Q2 Dividend

Primerica has elected to keep its dividend steady for the time being. The company declared its latest distribution, which will be $0.11 per share paid on September 10 to shareholders of record as of August 23. That amount matches both of the firm's two previous disbursements, the most recent of which was paid in June. Prior to that, Primerica handed out $0.09 per share.

The current dividend annualizes to $0.44 per share. That yields 1.1% at Primerica's stock price of $39.97.

The dividend declaration comes nearly a week after the firm unveiled its Q2 results. For the quarter, revenues were $312 million and net profit came in at $43.5 million ($0.74 per diluted share). Those figures for Q2 2012 were $301 million and $46.2 million ($0.72), respectively.
