Time is Running Out for Cintas Corporation and Anthony Melchiorri's $25,000 Hotel Makeover Contest

Hotel owners and operators have less than one month left to enter for the chance to win products and services from Cintas

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hoteliers interested in restoring their floors, updating staff uniforms, or enhancing another asset to improve operations and guest satisfaction have less than a month left to enter the $25,000 Hotel Makeover Contest from Cintas Corporation (NAS: CTAS) and Anthony Melchiorri. From now until August 31, hotels of all sizes can enter for a chance to win an onsite visit from Melchiorri, a hospitality expert and television personality, and $25,000 worth of products and services from Cintas.

"With the rise of social media and online review sites, a guest complaint that goes viral can severely damage a hotel's reputation in a few hours or even minutes," said Melchiorri. "Over the last decade, I have seen many hotels make a significant improvement in their operations by focusing on the four keys to guest satisfaction: image, cleanliness, safety and security."

Nicknamed the "hotel fixer," Melchiorri has more than 20 years of experience serving the hospitality industry. In addition to winning a $25,000 hotel makeover from Cintas, the winner will receive a personal visit from Melchiorri, who will witness the changes and speak with the winner's leadership team and staff, and a trip to the International Hotel/Motel + Restaurant Show, held in N.Y. in November 2013.

"We are passionate about supporting hotels as they raise the bar for their guests and staff," said Todd McKeown, Vice President, Global Hospitality and Gaming, Cintas. "Alongside Anthony, we look forward to presenting the winner with a $25,000 hotel makeover and demonstrating the impact it will have on image, cleanliness, safety and security."

The leader in specialized services to the hospitality industry, Cintas has more than 40 years of history partnering with hotels to support brand-building, efficient operations and enrichment of the guest experience. Some of the company's solutions for hotels include tile and carpet cleaning, HVAC cleaning, uniform supply and rental, towel, mat and mop services, fire protection services and first aid and safety supply and services. By taking steps to elevate their image, improve cleanliness and increase guest safety and security, hoteliers can secure a greater number of positive online and offline reviews and increase customer loyalty.

To enter the contest, hoteliers are encouraged to fill out the submission form and describe how they would use the $25,000 at www.cintas.com/anthonycontest. A winner will be selected by September 6, and the makeover will be unveiled at the 2013 International Hotel/Motel + Restaurant Show.
