Pentagon Awards $640 Million in Contracts Thursday
The U.S. Department of Defense announced 14 new contracts Thursday, potentially worth more than $640 million. Among the publicly traded winners of contracts were:
Rockwell Collins , winner of a $29.6 million multiyear foreign military sales contract to test and deliver Multi-Lingual Vehicular Micro Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (MicroDAGR) systems to the government of Saudi Arabia.
Lockheed Martin , which received a $15.4 million option exercise to supply three Aegis modernization upgrade equipment sets for installation aboard guided missile destroyers USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51), USS Mitscher (DDG 57), and USS Milius (DDG 69) by November 2016.
Engility Corp , which won a $13.1 million contract to supply internal appointment modules and workstations to the U.S. Army Contracting Command.
CACI , which received an $8.7 million contract to provide program management and materiel management support to the U.S. Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA) at Air Force medical treatment facilities worldwide. This work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2016.
