Newell Rubbermaid Keeps Its Dividend Steady

Newell Rubbermaid this week declared its latest quarterly dividend. The consumer and commercial products marketer will be paying $0.15 per share of common stock on Sept. 13 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 30.

This is the same amount the company has paid since December 2012, after Newell Rubbermaid raised its dividend 50%, from $0.10 per share to $0.15.

Annualized, this dividend adds up to $0.60 per share of common stock. As of market close on Aug. 7, Newell Rubbermaid's price per share was $27.06 per share. This means the company's current dividend yields approximately 2.2%.
