OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A.M. Best Co. has assigned indicative ratings of "bbb+" on senior unsecured debt, "bbb" on subordinated debt and "bbb-" on junior subordinated debt and preferred stock to the recently filed shelf registration of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., (The Hartford) (Hartford, CT) (NYS: HIG) . The outlook assigned is stable. The Hartford's existing financial strength, issuer credit and debt ratings are unchanged.
