Budget Golf Increases Online Revenue with ChannelAdvisor's Managed Paid Search Solution

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ChannelAdvisor (NYS: ECOM) , a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufactures to increase global sales, today announced that sports retailer Budget Golf has significantly increased its online revenue through search marketing programs supported by ChannelAdvisor's Paid Search solution. ChannelAdvisor's Managed Services team optimizes Budget Golf's online search advertising campaigns to maximize results and increase the company's online visibility.

Todd Messineo, Co-Founder of Budget Golf comments: "ChannelAdvisor's dedicated campaign managers constantly monitor our performance on search engines to ensure the greatest visibility for our products. Furthermore, they evaluate year-over-year data to better understand our business and our peak seasons, since it's important to bid up during these times to maximize results."

ChannelAdvisor's experts expanded keyword coverage for Budget Golf by implementing Inventory Driven Search (IDS), a feature of ChannelAdvisor's Paid Search solution that accurately and automatically generates product-specific long tail keywords. IDS quickly became the strongest-performing campaign behind keywords focused on the brand. Additionally, the ChannelAdvisor team employed Google Enhanced Campaigns to cater to the retailers' mobile customers, and Budget Golf enjoyed immediate mobile advertising success.

"Since 2011 our mobile traffic has increased from 10.5 percent to more than 30 percent of our total traffic, and with the help of Enhanced Campaigns we are hoping to increase mobile traffic to 50 percent in the next 18-24 months," said Messineo. "Additionally, we started using the location targeting feature of Enhanced Campaigns to raise bids on specific regions where sales were particularly strong. Since early results in these efforts proved to be promising, going forward we'll be doing more to optimize bids for mobile devices and location in order to increase our traffic and revenue."
