Windstream Declares Fresh Dividend

Windstream is continuing to answer the call for shareholder payouts. The company has declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.25 per share, to be dispensed on October 15 to shareholders of record as of September 30. That amount is in line with nearly every preceding dividend Windstream has paid since it started handing out distributions in October 2006.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to an even $1.00 per share. That yields 11.6% at the firm's current stock price of $8.59.

The company is scheduled to discuss its Q2 results in a conference call at 7:30 a.m. Central Time tomorrow.
