Harman Doubles Dividend

Infotainment equipment manufacturer Harman International Industriesannounced today its second-quarter dividend of $0.30 per share, double the rate it paid last quarter of $0.15 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 30 to the holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 16. The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.20-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2% based on the closing price today of Harman International Industries' stock.
