Airgas Keeps Dividend Steady

Specialty gas manufacturer Airgasannounced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.48 per share, the same rate it paid for last quarter after raising the payout 20% from $0.40 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 30 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 13. The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.92-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.8% based on the closing price today of Airgas' stock.
