Forest Oil Replaces CFO
Later this month, a new name will appear next to the CFO title at Forest Oil . The company announced that Victor Wind will be its new man in that position. He will take the place of Michael Kennedy, who resigned his post effective August 23 in order to "pursue other opportunities in the oil and gas industry."
Wind is currently the company's chief accounting officer, corporate controller, senior vice president, and treasurer. Of those positions, he will keep the treasurer post. He will also become an executive vice president upon his ascension.
Wind has been at Forest Oil since 2005. Prior to his time at the firm, he served in various management positions at Evergreen Resources, a company since acquired by Pioneer Natural Resources.
