Consolidated Comms Declares Dividend

Consolidated Communications Holdings is continuing to answer the call for shareholder payouts. The company has declared its latest quarterly common stock dividend, which is to be $0.38738 per share paid on November 1 to shareholders of record as of October 15. That amount is in line with all of Consolidated Comms' preceding distributions stretching back to February 2006.

In the press release heralding the news, the firm pointed out that the just-declared dividend will be its 33rd in a row. It annualizes to just under $1.55 per share, yielding 8.6% at the company's most recent closing stock price of $17.92.

Consolidated Comms is scheduled to release its Q2 results before market open on Wednesday. It will host a simultaneous conference call and webcast at 11 a.m. Central Time to discuss the figures.
