ITT Educational Services Makes an Acquisition

ITT Educational Services is set to expand its curriculum following an asset buy. The company announced it has acquired Cable Holdings, doing business as Benchmark Learning, an IT and business training company headquartered in Minneapolis. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to ITT Educational, the move is synergistic. It said that the addition of Benchmark Learning "supports ITT/ESI's growth strategy of increasing access to high-quality, career-based education." It provides its new owner with a range of offerings in the IT educational field, as it is an authorized training partner of Microsoft and Citrix.

Benchmark Learning's operations will be folded into ITT's Center for Professional Development.
