Specialty-chemical maker Hawkinsannounced yesterday its semi-annual dividend of $0.36 per share, a 6% increase from the payout made to investors last quarter of $0.34 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Oct. 4 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 20. This is the 28th consecutive year the specialty-chemical maker has paid cash dividends since it first began paying out dividends in 1985.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.72-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.7% based on the closing price today of Hawkins stock.
