Ellington Financial Keeps Dividend Steady
Specialty-finance company Ellington Financialannounced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.77 per share, the same rate it's paid the last two quarters after raising the payout 10%, from $0.70 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 16 to the holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 30. It paid a special dividend of $0.75 per share in December 2012.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $3.08-per-share annual dividend, yielding 13.7% based on the closing price today of Ellington Financial's stock.
