Avon's Calling With Steady Dividend Payout

Beauty products maker Avon Products announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.06 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after slashing the payout 74% from $0.23 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on September 3 to holders of record at the close of business on August 15. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.24-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.1% based on the closing price today of Avon Products' stock.
