Rogers Selects Tangoe's Managed Mobility Service Offering to Support its Enterprise Customers' Mobile Strategies

ORANGE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tangoe, Inc. (NAS: TNGO) , a leading global provider of Communications Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and related services, today announced that Rogers Communications, Canada's leading wireless carrier, has agreed to add Tangoe's Managed Mobility Service (MMS) offering to its Managed Mobility Service Portfolio of solutions.

Rogers' Managed Mobility solutions are designed for enterprise customers requiring help with ordering, fulfilling and managing their suite of mobile devices, managing the growing cost of mobility, and enabling their mobility strategy. Today, Rogers supports 9.4 million mobile subscribers and has published 2012 revenues of $7.3 billion. Tangoe's MMS solution adds an integrated suite of technology and services to Rogers' current Managed Mobility Service Portfolio.

A Carrier with Comprehensive Enterprise Support

The addition of Tangoe's MMS solution enhances Rogers' ability to support mobile enterprise customers across Canada. With Tangoe MMS, Rogers enables its enterprise customers to outsource their mobile strategy support to an experienced services team that helps create revenue streams, optimize mobile user productivity, and lower mobile operational costs.

As part of the enhanced MMS capability, Rogers will leverage Tangoe's proprietary AAMES™ capabilities to help enterprises with day-to-day device and network connection management:

  • Advise and establish mobile device connection strategies

  • Activate equipment, services, plans in accordance with corporate policy

  • Manage and secure all network connections at every level of the organization

  • Expense management on a global scale

  • Support at every level, across every connection, at all time, from help desk support to a completely managed service

"Generally, organizations benefit from the increased productivity and flexibility the mobile revolution has brought to the working world. However, when there are thousands of employees, multiple device types, and multiple operating systems that need access to corporate systems, these needs often becomes too complex for corporations to manage on their own," said Al Subbloie, president, CEO, and founder of Tangoe. "In these situations, quick, simple fixes are insufficient and enterprises need a comprehensive, unified solution. Rogers Communications recognizes this shift and has taken a leadership position with its enterprise customers by enabling them to not only acquire mobile devices services, but also manage the entire mobile environment."
