EPS came in at $1.58. The 20 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $1.61 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $1.58 for Q2 were 3.7% lower than the prior-year quarter's $1.64 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.63 for Q2 were 0.6% lower than the prior-year quarter's $1.64 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 40.6%, 630 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 40.6%, 400 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 22.2%, 80 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $6.24 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.90.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $24.75 billion. The average EPS estimate is $7.13.
