EPS came in at $0.95. The 16 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.94 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.95 for Q2 were 10% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.86 per share. (The prior-year quarter included -$0.05 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.) GAAP EPS of $0.69 for Q2 were 47% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.47 per share. (The prior-year quarter included -$0.05 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.)

For the quarter, gross margin was 65.9%, 70 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 13.3%, 100 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 7.3%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $819.4 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.02.
