Good Samaritan Rejoins Aetna's Network in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced today that it has signed a new agreement with Good Samaritan Hospital. Aetna members who receive care at Good Samaritan will be covered at the in-network level of benefits.
"We are pleased to welcome Good Samaritan Hospital back to our network in Southern California and provide our members with additional access to a high-quality health care facility and services at in-network benefit levels," said Shawn Forrester, Aetna's network head for Southern California.
Aetna serves more than 1.1 million members in the greater Los Angeles and greater San Diego areas, providing them with access to a combined contracted network of 191 Southern California hospitals and 30,600 primary care doctors and physician specialists.
