Etón Corporation Announces Additional Mobile Charging Solutions to Popular Boost Line

New collection of mobile chargers provide users with portable power, anywhere

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- At Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2013, Etón Corporation (www.etoncorp.com), a leading creator of high-performance, eco-minded consumer products, announces additions to the Boost mobile charging line including the new Boost 4200, Boost 8400 and BoostTurbine 4000 for on-the-go portable power to mobile devices. The newest additions to Etón's Boost mobile charging line will be debuted at Summer Outdoor Retailer 2013 at Booth #36206.

The new BoostTurbine 4000 joins the BoostTurbine family, the world's only rechargeable battery packs with emergency back-up capability via a hand-crank power generator. In line with the tried-and-true features of its predecessors, the BoostTurbine 4000's hand crank will provide power when it's needed most, such as when you don't have access to a power source. The BoostTurbine 4000 doubles the previous battery capacity of existing BoostTurbine products to provide two full charges to most smartphones, plus it boasts a 5V/2.1A USB port that can charge tablets, smartphones and other USB devices. In one minute, the hand crank power generator can produce enough power for about four minutes of talk time and a few critical texts. BoostTurbine 4000 is made of tough but lightweight aluminum and with its sleek and elegant design, it's compact enough to fit in your pocket.

In this tradition of lightweight and durable aluminum cased products, come the new Boost 4200 and 8400 products, with a beautiful slim design and unique feature of shaking to check the battery level. Fast and efficient, when fully charged, Boost 4200 has a 4200mAh lithium battery that can completely charge most smartphones twice plus with the 5V/2.1A USB port it can charge tablets and other USB devices. Boost 8400 has a large 8400mAh lithium battery providing the ability to fully charge most smartphones four times, plus it boasts dual 5V/2.1A USB ports to simultaneously charge two smartphones, tablets or other USB devices, so users are never caught without power.

With a sleek and elegant design, both Boost 4200 and Boost 8400 fit in the palm of your hand and easily into your pocket. The new products feature a Micro-USB DC input to use with most smartphone chargers or computers.

"As our lives become increasingly mobile, we begin to rely on our mobile devices for more and more crucial daily tasks from our personal to professional lives," said Esmail Hozour, CEO of Etón Corporation. "In most situations, having a fully-functioning, charged mobile device is key. The new Boost products fit in your pocket for on-the-go relief from a dying battery—a service that is irreplaceable when you need your gadget most."

New Etón Boost products, Boost 8400, Boost 4200 and BoostTurbine 4000, will be available for purchase in Fall 2013. For more information about Etón and its products, visit www.etoncorp.com.
