Energizer Keeps Going and Going With 25% Dividend Hike

Consumer goods specialist Energizer Holdingsannounced today its fourth-quarter dividend of $0.50 per share, a 25% increase in the payout made to investors from the $0.40 per share paid last quarter.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on September 10 to holders of record at the close of business on August 20. Perhaps most memorably known for its Energizer Bunny, Energizer Holdings also has a personal care division with equally well-known brands such as Schick, Skintimate, Hawaiian Tropic, and Wet Ones..

The regular dividend payment equates to a $2.00-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2% based on the closing price today of Energizer Holdings. stock.
