EPS came in at $1.52. The 17 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $1.40 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $1.52 for Q2 were 16% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.31 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.64 for Q2 were 24% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.32 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 25.9%, 180 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 8.1%, 50 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 4.6%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
