Partners with Gateway Cancer Center to Deliver State-of-the-Art, Physician-Led Treatment

(NASDAQ: USMD), a physician-led integrated healthcare system, announced today its wholly owned subsidiary, USMD Cancer Treatment Centers, has partnered with Metropolitan Urological Surgeons, Urological Consultants and South County Urology to form Gateway Cancer Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Gateway Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art cancer center that offers both radiation and urologic oncology services in the same facility. With urologists and radiation oncologists working together at the same location, communication is optimized to cultivate better patient care.
Gateway Cancer Center offers patients access to leading-edge technology including cone beam computed tomography (Cone Beam CT), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT—which treats prostate and genitourinary cancers). The Center provides cutting-edge equipment, combined with exceptional personalized care, which keeps the focus on putting patients' well-being first.
