Harbor Island Development Corp. Announces Launch of Print Media Campaigns for Media Point Network's Top DRTV Products/Services

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Harbor Island Development Corp. (OTCQB: HIDC), (the "Company"), through its wholly owned subsidiary BrandSeed Media Services LLC. ("BrandSeed"), a multi-channel direct marketing service provider, today announced that the Company plans to launch its first two test campaigns via nationwide print for Media Point Network Inc. ("Media Point"), a global leader in performance-based advertising across DRTV (direct response television), print and radio.

The BrandSeed team has created a direct response marketing program focused on nationwide print advertising in newspapers and magazines for Media Point. The Company will be launching the first two of a series of planned campaigns over the next several weeks for "A Place for Mom" featuring Joan Lundren, former host of Good Morning America, and "Super Beta Prostate" featuring Joe Theisman, former football MVP and Hall of Famer. BrandSeed will receive performance-based commissions on both these campaigns at a pre-negotiated CPC (cost per call) or CPO (cost per order) which guarantees the clients will meet their customer acquisition cost targets and BrandSeed will hit its media margin targets as it scales successful programs.

Media Point is a wholly owned subsidiary of InterMedia Advertising, Inc. ("InterMedia"), which is a leading innovator in the world of direct response and general market advertising. Among the clients that InterMedia provided marketing service to include the US Army, GMAC Insurance, Armor All, Black & Decker, Vonage, Discover Card, Ralston Purina, TaeBo, Hooked on Phonics, and Time/Life. Media Point is focused on offering performance-based direct response advertising campaigns to its clients through its unique proprietary network of hundreds of media affiliates, comprised of remnant and deeply discounted television, cable and radio, on a local, regional and national basis.

"We are excited to be working with Media Point to launch these two top-selling DRTV campaigns in print and building out incremental sales channels for these campaigns. 'Super Beta Prostate' has sold over 5 million bottles and has become the nation's largest and most trusted prostate health supplement. 'A Place for Mom' is the nation's largest senior living advisory service helping over 200,000 families each year. We believe both these campaigns have a high probability of success given their response rates in the DRTV channel and our expertise in building out highly scalable new print marketing channels," commented Chuck Anton, President and CEO of Harbor Island Development."BrandSeed and Media Point both focus on bringing new innovative products/services to market and generating new customers for blue-chip clients without the normal risks and costs associated with direct response advertising. We expect this will be the first of many successful new product launches with Media Point and their clients."
