Canon U.S.A. Names Tsuneo Imai President of Virtual Imaging, Inc.

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced management changes at its wholly owned subsidiary Virtual Imaging, Inc.

Tsuneo Imai is now president of Virtual Imaging, a position he will hold while maintaining his current role as senior director and general manager, Healthcare Solutions Division, Business Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. He succeeds Chris Duca, who will become technical advisor to the president, supporting Mr. Imai with technical and engineering expertise for a transition period.

In April 2009, Canon U.S.A., Inc. acquired Virtual Imaging, Inc. to strengthen the X-ray system/modality business for Canon's innovative Digital Radiography (DR) flat panel detectors.
